Communication assistance feedback - Police prosecutor/Crown counsel

Closed 2 Jul 2021

Opened 11 Jun 2021

Overview

The communication assistance service is a key tool for our courts in ensuring that participants who experience communication difficulties have help to overcome barriers to access to justice. It helps the court ensure that defendants can understand what is happening in court, and defendants and witnesses can give evidence to the best of their ability.

The Ministry of Justice will soon be releasing a quality framework for the communication assistance service which sets out who can provide the service, how it should be delivered and how we will monitor and manage ongoing quality improvement.

This survey is to collect baseline data on your satisfaction with the service and identify any areas for improvement. We will run this survey annually to measure changes over time
