Audio visual and remote participation
Overview
The Chief Justice, on 29th March 2023 launched the Digital Strategy for the Courts and Tribunals of Aotearoa New Zealand, which sets out the judiciary’s objective and guiding principles for use of technology in the courts.
As a result, the Digital office in the Ministry of Justice is conducting a review of the Audio Visual (AV) technology services used to access Justice, both internally within the Ministry and externally across our sector partners.
This survey aims to capture user’s needs, pain points and experiences relating to Justice AV technology and remote participation in Courts.
Why your views matter
We are interested in hearing your feedback, as a key user of the service, and believe your feedback will be valuable for the review. This is also a great chance to share your thoughts on how to improve the service.
What happens next
Your results will be incorporated into the findings and recommendations for the AV and remote participation review and will help inform what the future AV service and remote participation looks like.
