Workforce Survey 2025

Closes 8 Oct 2025

Section 1: Your Work

First, we have a few questions to help us understand the type of work you do, and the people and communities you work with, to inform our annual reporting for the Outcomes and Measurement Framework (OMF) and the Interdepartmental Executive Board (IEB).

By “work”, we mean paid or unpaid support you give to people who have been affected by family violence and / or sexual violence or those who support victim-survivors. This could include managing or supporting staff, working directly with people, whānau, families, and communities, working in a prevention role, or in a support role (e.g. policy, research, or administration).

If you have multiple roles, please answer the following questions for your main paid or voluntary role.

1. Which of these types of work do you primarily do, or support others to do? Please select all that apply
(Required)
2. What sort of services do you and your organisation provide? (The options below are intended to also include the workforce that works in primary prevention i.e., before harm occurs, and in generalist/community services who encounter people affected by violence, even if it is not the primary presenting issue. If this is you and your organisation, please respond according to whether you mostly encounter people affected by, or work in the primary prevention of, family violence, sexual violence, or both.)
